The pervasive notion of assemblage is the basis for all of my work, produced through a multidisciplinary approach. Multimedia projects span across illustration, collage, photography and scanography, to animation, sculpture, embroidery and book-binding.
Perspective, scale and geometry are frequently present as tools, utilised through visual topics of industrial and utilitarian architecture, iconography, schematic symbols, blueprints, electrical equipment and science fiction.
A key conceptual topic is that of creative architecture, and how parkour, and conscious playground design create avenues into this. How we can inhabit physical environments through an open, playful lens while questioning the confined subtext of public spaces and architecture through various means, and therefore the wider discourse of creativity in a modern world.
